ROLE + RESPONSIBILITIES
Provide insights and support in development of strategic, innovative solutions to client briefs in a fast-paced, entrepreneurial environment.
Support the design and implementation of work plans, timelines, risk assessments, budget reports, etc.
Coordinate and marshal internal and external resources to drive results on time and on budget
Support business development through sourcing opportunities and developing communications strategies, creative approaches, budgets, results frameworks, and monitoring and evaluation methodologies
Liaise with Lapis strategy, creative, media, and research verticals towards strong program alignment.
Provide support in administrative and procurement aspects of the projects
Arrange and participate in internal and external stakeholders’ meetings
Support the project managers with the day-to-day tasks of the projects
CHARACTERISTICS + COMPETENCIES
At least a bachelor’s degree is required, preferably in the field of communications, business, or management.
2 years of relevant work experience is required
Written and spoken English and Dari/Pashto
Enterprising, business-savvy, self-starter constantly seeking to add value
Strong intellectual curiosity, with balanced strategic thinking and analytical prowess
Strong ability to manage multiple detailed projects in a fast-paced, high-stakes environment
Excellent relationship-building skills across cultures, both remotely and in person
Exceptional written and oral communications skills

Commitment to and passion for positive change in Afghanistan
Excellent usage of MS Office
A working understanding of the sociopolitical landscape of Afghanistan preferred
Strong understanding of donor and global funding environment preferred
Robust sense of humor and humility required
