We seek exceptional candidates for Finance and Admin Officer role who have the passion and intellectual acuity to help with implementation of our projects. Finance and Admin Officer will be responsible for day-to-day coordination of the tasks and deliverables with different project stakeholders. In addition to finance and accountancy, he will also help with administrative and coordination tasks assigned to him by the project managers and the rest of the team.


Administrative Tasks:

  • Provide logistical and administrative support for site visits, meetings, or external stakeholder visits. This may include, but is not limited to making hotel reservations, booking flights, distributing email invitations, ordering and ensuring the delivery of meals, etc.
  • Provide administrative and operational support such as purchasing office supplier, coordinating with vendors as requested, among other tasks.
  • Prepare documentation required for the recruitment and help in the recruitment process including advertising ToRs, scheduling interviews, and others.
  • Maintain an office filing system and assist in archiving.
  • Carry out any other duties as may be required by the project team and instructed by the Program Director.


  • Prepare expenditure request forms and other documentations for project expenditures.
  • Ensure that all project expenditure is compliant with policies and procedures and all supporting documentations and authorization is properly obtained.
  • Create and process monthly salaries and coordinate with the central finance team for disbursement.
  • Develop weekly and monthly cash requirements for the project.
  • Maintain and update project files, including project expenditure, progress reports, workplans and budgets in compliance with policies and procedures.
  • Prepare monthly and other periodic reports.
  • Assist in the project audit.
  • Maintain close relationship with the central finance team and provide updates as needed.
  • Perform any other activity as required by the Program Director.


  • University Degree in Business/Finance/Management
  • Minimum three (03) years of work experience in providing admin and finance support to projects
  • Experience working with and for program implementation teams
  • Computer literacy essential with proven working experience on Microsoft Office programs (Word, Excel, PowerPoint, etc.) and/or other relevant software.
  • Strong verbal and written communication skills and a demonstrated competency to interact with people at all levels of the organization
  • Flexibility in order to meet deadlines and goals
