Jonte Green is a program associate at Lapis, where he supports the strategy planning and implementation of projects in markets as diverse as Yemen, Iraq, Iran, Afghanistan and Pakistan.
Jonte currently focuses his efforts on the development and management multi-platform communications campaigns. His portfolio includes a large-scale marketing and audience engagement strategy across 5 TV channels and Social Media platforms in several countries and in multiple languages. The program involves the adaptation of the strategy to local sensitivities to ensure key messages are reaching the target audiences successfully.
Prior to joining Lapis, he worked as a Strategy Consultant in Dubai, helping multinational clients enter and better understand Middle Eastern markets. Jonte assisted local firms to benchmark against global best practices and identify opportunities for growth, as well as working with sovereign clients to understand the social and economic impact of their investments.
He holds a Bachelor in Economics and Politics from the School of Oriental and African Studies, University of London, where he focused on development economics for the Middle East and Islam and politics. Jonte is fully proficient in Swedish, English and French and conversational in Spanish, dreams of speaking Arabic, but is now learning Dari.
