Faheem Ahamed is a strategic communications practitioner with 20 years of marketing and communications experience, having advised governments, chief executives and CMOs on complex communications challenges.
His approach to problem solving draws on and integrates experience in all the major communications disciplines including reputation, crisis, and media management, as well as brand development and ‘virtual-social’ engagements. He now specializes in geopolitical issues and the use of communications in support of national strategic objectives, including nation building and conflict resolution.
Faheem’s clients have included major tobacco and confectionery corporations, air travel operators, media entities, technology companies and multinational financial services corporations. He has also advised royalty, ministers and leadership at defense ministries, foreign ministries, and security advisory bodies across the G8 countries and the Middle East.
An alumnus of Swinburne University, Faheem holds a Bachelor in Economics and MBA in Strategic Management. Faheem will be spearheading Lapis’ growth strategies in frontier markets across Central Asia, Middle East and Africa.
