Ainnie Hamirani is a Program Manager at Lapis. She has five years of experience working in communications and development in both the private and public sectors with clients such as the US Government, ISAF, UN organizations, IRI, USAID and various NGOs throughout Afghanistan and Pakistan. Her responsibilities as a project manager include close implementation and monitoring of communications projects, liaising with clients in a professional and timely manner, monitoring and advising on risks to the project implementation and daily financial management of the project.
Ainnie has managed complex grants and contracts across a wide range of sectors including security, education, health, civic education and governance in Pakistan and Afghanistan. This includes large productions of TV series’, advertising campaigns and documentaries. She was also the Program Manager for Sesame Street and manages the broadcast of the first season of the popular Burka Avenger in Afghanistan.
Ainnie holds a Master’s degree in International Relations from the University of Karachi and Bachelors in Commerce. She is fluent in Urdu, English and speaks basic of Dari.
